But this red is different.

It lives in school uniforms scrubbed quietly at night, before anyone else could notice. In dupattas and cardigans tied around waists, not for comfort but for concealment. In seclusion, tearing away at dignity.

In whispers exchanged between friends and warnings passed down by mothers. And in the everyday lived experience of millions of women.In silence, in shame, and in pain. Hidden, repeated, carried forward.

Some of these I witnessed first-hand. Some were shared with me in confidence.

All of them are real. I call them Red Stories.
