Red Sky in the Morning: Guardians of Suika City

By Karis Fujioka

In a world of aliens, mages, and robots, one boy desires to be the hero.

In a technological advanced city of the far future, the sky turns dark as a gigantic UFO owned by two humanoid aliens covers the sun. The aliens, hailing from an intergalactic empire, announce their plans to conquer first the city, then the country, then the planet.

Taking this in, the clever but quirky police superintendent launches a program to appoint a superhero team of six teenagers to defend the city and protect their planet.

Enter Cameron Camerota, a 14 year old gamer who has his life all figured out. And that's his problem. Yearning for something new, he jumps at the chance to join the team once offered the position. But Cam struggles to integrate himself into the team.

Various misunderstandings and mistakes drive rifts between him and his fellow members. The tension grows as the time nears for the aliens to strike, and once it arrives, Cam makes one reckless, foolish move, which very well may have jeopardized the entire mission...

...and the entire world.
