Immediate Favorite

The first page of the book was absolutely hooking and the rest of the book does not disappoint. This is the first time I've read a book in less than a week. I couldn't put it down. I'm really scared I won't find another book or series that I love this much.

An Epic of Epic proportions

This is one of the most enticing books I've ever read. It is the equivalent of a Greek Tragedy, think the Odyssey or Troy, but in Space, where the setting is the entire solar system. It's made me cry, and jump up from my seat, scream from rage and rejoice with laughter. The beginning of a seven book long rollercoaster. The undercurrent of introspection into human nature is also philosophical and even academic in nature. A true masterpiece of Science Fiction and modern writing. Strongly recommend.

The best of them all.

With way too many series out there this one shines. It’s Gladiator, Star Wars, The Iliad, Dune and Clash of the Titans all rolled into one. Amazes me that each book gets better. Can’t even imagine this translated to TV it’s just to grand in scale.

This book is great, up there with Dune

Like I said this is up there with Dune. Really great story, characters, I get lost in that world while reading it, and never want to put it down. Can't wait to read the next two

Read it. You won't be disappointed.

I ripped threw this book faster than anything in a long time. It was really interesting, and it kept me turning the pages. The protagonist is engaging. I like that this isn't the typical hero story. He has flaws. I wanted to know what would happen to him. Plus, the auxiliary characters are interesting, and the author never loses track of them throughout the trilogy. Excellent read.
