Short but sweet

This was a very sweet book, very short. While I liked it, I expected a full novel.

I purchased this for my Mother who has recently joined the Red Hat Ladies. I read it on Christmas Eve at our family gathering and everyone enjoyed it. I only wish the book was a little larger. It is quite small in size so it was hard for everyone to look at the pictures.

For your favorite Red Hat Lady or her grandchild.

I expected this to be good but I thought it was great. I took it to the meeting of all of the Red Hat Queens in my area.

Great satire!

One of my hobbies is the writing of satirical lyrics, to pop songs, in honor of retirees at their farewell parties. Therefore, I am all too familiar with the challenges that are involved in the composing of those whimsical poems/songs. I really enjoyed the humor in this satire of "The Night Before Christmas."
