Beginning as a film-noir mystery, Red Fog Riders, is a multi-perspective book about two spirits, Bill and Philly, solving the cases of their own deaths. As the novel progresses, more narrators appear. Roach, a living musician, adds life to the world of the fog. Looming in the shadows, we meet Betty, Bill's Vengeful wife. She has an agenda and her own version of the past. Ancillaries get to tell their stories as well; even the bad guys are narrators.

Along the way, the reader will find clues not only to answer the mystery of Bill and Philly's deaths, but also to unearth the true nature of the afterlife and the roles that each character plays within an even larger conflict.
