Step by step: Reclaiming the High Ground For Everyone

John Di Francis wrote this book with the business leader in mind, however, I wouldrecommend this book to everyone. He speaks of Trust, Integrity, Honesty, Responsibility, all attributes that are needed by all, not only business leaders. He not only reminds us of what is needed, he gives guidelines for accomplishing theReclaiming of the High Ground. I appreciated him reminding me of the antidote for the moral decline seen in our society, Character. All of us, no matter what field of work we are in, be it Medicine,Nursing,Education,Government,Parenting, must begin with a strong moral "Character" I especially recommend this book to parents as Character building begins in childhood as Mr. DiFrances points out.

Reclaiming the Ethical High Ground

At last, a book that gets to the heart of the matter!Di Frances makes it clear that leaders must make a commitment to doing what is right regardless of the cost. I believe this book should be in the hands of every corporate and political leader in our country. Not only does it provide invaluable insights but gives great examples of individuals who apply high ethical standards in their roles as leaders. This is a must read for both leaders and those they serve!

Right Book at the Right time

This book came at the right time...it was really encouraging to read and hear about "capialism with a conscience". John Di Frances offers very practical guidance and proven advice pertaining to dealing with todays business world situations. It was a refreshing reminder that doing the right thing may not always be popular but, in the end, he explains nicely how it will actually lead to both peace of mind and more profitable business. John's ten "intangible Imperitives" offers great wisdom and a nice road map to guide leaders in changing our focus from the tangible to the intangible. He provides great examples for todays business leaders by explaining how high ethical standards ARE compatable with tangible results. This book came at the right time in this "Hurry up and get results now society"...Thank you John!

Character has always been the key to leadership

It is a lot easier to talk about character than to live out its claims in the challenges of real life. This book does a great job making the case for the high priority of character in leadership. But of even more value is the latter half of the book where the author creatively shows the reader how to begin building character into his business and life.

The Right Answer for Business Today

I have to commend the author. It's easy to tell people what they want to hear but to share a problem that has been hidden and kept in the shadows with this kind of compassion is refreshing. We in industry have long needed to hear this call to a higher standard. Excellent work, I'll look forward to hearing more from you in the future.Michael VanDine, PECorporate EngineerNational Clay Pipe Institute
