Fantastic, fast-moving historical

I love Jem's independence, this woman raised as a son who must save her father's ranch, even if it means sacrificing her own idea of what love should be. Jem is a rare character in this genre, one who grows with each page of the book. The turns and twists that she encounters makes it a great journey. This one's a keeper.
