Based on a true story, Rebounder is a screenplay about a 20 something prison inmate named Jimi who finds his way onto the Princeton basketball team through a series of scams and misdirection. Meanwhile, Jimi is a great basketball player who was never given a chance. His life was going to be average and amount to nothing until he ran into the one man who knew how to transform him into a real college player and a real college student. The plot of this screenplay is about how far even prestigious college sports programs will go to be successful at finding students to win in their programs. This screenplay was written by Dan Gudema and was never produced into a movie.
