Courtnie had one dream in life, and that was to travel out west and never let her feet settle under one hearth for too long.
Abuela, Courtnie's maternal grandmother, was a Pueblo Indian from Mexico. As a young woman, Abuela had traveled through the Rocky Mountains into Canada, across the spans of Canada, and back into the United States, where she settled in Wisconsin. The stories of the places she had been and the people she had met were the fire that lit a flame in Courtnie's heart.
Sadly, Abuela's stories were as empty as her paternal grandmother's love for the half-bred, whose coloring could not hide her heritage. However, finding out the truth concerning both of her grandmothers added fuel to the fire that burned inside her. The only difference now was maturity opened Courtnie's heart to love. Love of family, bonds of sisterhood, and the dentist who had drilled his way into her life.
Will Courtnie give up her dream and stay with her dentist or will her unquenchable desires be the Reasons Two Roam?
