This collection is a commentary on the letters of Paul the Apostle as taught at Solid Rock School of Theology. This commentary employs an historical and contextual, as well as a theological and philosophical hermeneutics. It differs from most other work of the kind in that it takes into account that, while there is no systematic organization in Pauline Theology, there are at least two noteworthy presuppositions when utilizing Pauline thought. First, one must always keep in mind Paul's polar-headings of Flesh and Spirit. Everything one reads in Paul's letters must be categorized into one of these opposing poles. Secondly, Paul's understanding of the mystical/organic union in Christ (The Cruciform; The Form of the Crucifixion) is necessarily a mandatory understanding in following Pauline thought to its rightful conclusions. Paul understands Christ, not from the point of view of when he walked the earth, but from the Resurrection Life of Christ available now to all who will make it effectual. For Paul, conforming to Christ's death and, therefore, his Resurrection Life is paramount to the Christian experience.
