Really Understand Canada: The Maple Country as Seen by an Immigrant

I lived in Canada from 2010 to 2018 in four different provinces, namely Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. During those eight years, I resided in five major Canadian cities which are Edmonton, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver. For six years, I worked in difficult jobs in the provinces of Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec. At the same time, I studied English for three years in these three provinces because, in Canada, mastering this language is essential for professional success. I was a temporary resident of Canada from 2010 to 2012, a permanent resident from 2012 to 2017, then a Canadian citizen since the end of the year 2017. To avoid having to pay exorbitant legal fees, I endured the full weight of the Canadian bureaucratic machine alone and thus prepared four visa applications, passed the expensive permanent resident medical examination, applied to become a Canadian citizen, passed the citizenship test on my first attempt with a score of 20/20, passed the citizenship interview, swore allegiance to the Queen of Canada, and obtained a Canadian passport. As a result, I think I can understand this vast territory which is very different from many other countries because of, among other things, the diversity of its population, its cultural pluralism, and its specificities which make Canada such a special country but really interesting to discover and try to tame. This book covers thirty-four subjects as varied as they are essential and contains valuable information that can save a future immigrant a lot of time because by reading it, he will surely avoid making the mistakes made by too many people because of their lack of information and inexperience of Canada, but also save a lot of money in immigration fees because I explain precisely the prerequisites necessary to become a permanent resident and subsequently a Canadian citizen. Finally, it is better to get informed before embarking on the adventurous, expensive, and even sometimes risky project of immigrating to a new country and not leaving without knowing anything like me who did not know how to prepare a Canadian resume or even name of the federal capital of Canada, don't you think?
