THIS IS WHAT LOVE LOOKS LIKE

Something is very wrong with the way we have been programmed by our culture to "love" people, AND, it doesn't work to produce the kind of relationships we long for. In Reality For A Change, Ennio Salucci brilliantly contrasts fear-driven choices, designed to self-protect through various strategies, such as, cordial hypocrisy, isolation, performing, being a victim, and many others with faith-driven choices, designed to truly love others such as, honesty, connecting, being authentic, taking responsibility for our current reality, and many others. Jesus modeled this way of risk-loving for the purpose of having authentic relationships with others. In my opinion, every single problem our world faces today, from crime, to divorce, to abuse, to wars is solved by this way of engaging life. If we can learn the Biblical principles so creatively expressed in Reality For A Change, we will change our thinking about loving others, change our focus from self-protecting, change our choices to risking everything so we can finally have what we long for in relationships with others. In the end, we can leave a legacy of Christ-love and have the possibility to change the world one relationship at a time.
