ritual risen

ritual is something that has, in large part, been lost in our society. we still do weddings (sometimes) and memorial services, but so many of the other significant transitions of life go un noticed, certainly not honored or recognized. rev. karyl's book gives outlines for a variety of rituals to makr and celebrate the significant events of our lives, the events that define, the points of demarcation that are significant and meaningful. i used to be shy of ritual, probably because i was so unfamiliar with it in any real way. this book is a great re-intriduction and has stimulated not just some old healing, but some great new ideas!
