The Interactive Worktext is a scaffolded version of the Reading/Writing Companion. Using the Interactive Worktext, students read scaffolded versions of Wonders texts so they can practice close reading by accessing complex texts at a lower readability level, then "Level Up" to on-grade-level versions of the same texts. While the Interactive Worktext is lower in readability, it maintains the elements of complexity that students need to master. The 2022 edition includes fully updated instruction, with new My Goals student pages that focus on monitoring student growth and fostering student agency, and enhanced writing.
