The Interactive Worktext is a scaffolded version of the Reading/Writing Companion. Using the Interactive Worktext, students read scaffolded versions of Wonders texts so they can practice close reading by accessing complex texts at a lower readability level, then "Level Up" to on-grade-level versions of the same texts. While the Interactive Worktext is lower in readability, it maintains the elements of complexity that students need to master.
