Book in excellent condition ---just a little expensive for a 2004 paperback, but I guess they are quite rare.

Terrific first-hand accounts!

"Reading the Water" has long been on my fishing "books to read" list but I was not willing to put out the several hundred dollars collectors were looking for since the book became unavailable. Then, when I ran across this second edition, I purchased three copies, one for myself and two to pass along.This work is full of fantastic stories of the Martha's Vineyard fishing derbies as well as useful information for fishing for striped bass and bluefish in the New England surf.
