Solid Reading Comprehension

This is a good book for reading comprehension. The stories are short with a lot of variety, many are informational and some are just to entertain. Each new section has a skill lesson,where new concepts are introduced, a Talk About It section, a short story or poem, vocabulary words, a main story, an About the Author section, followed by a questions for a comprehension check, an open discussion question, a test prep area,and usually some type of connection area where it relates to an another area such as art or health. I find this book very good for individual learning, however I personally like it best for group reading and discussion.
