This book gives the reader a glimpse into my faith, my freedom, my religion, and gospel truths that I have come to know are true, and I embrace them with all my heart.

I have learned from my own life experiences that when we have respect for each other's thoughts and feelings, we can learn from each other despite any differences that we may have. Because of the love we feel for each other, we can still hold hands and walk together.

I share with you my journey of faith and my reach for something higher spiritually, which I call reaching for the spiritual roses in my life

It is my prayer that as you read my poems and stories, you will feel the prompting of the Spirit and choose to follow Him. And, by following Him, you will feel a desire to reach for the spiritual roses in your life
