This is the story of Ray, a young girl who feels like everything is just a bit too much for her. She can be quite shy and lacks confidence but she wants to be happy and enjoy the wonders that life has to offer Will she be able to face her fear and join in with the other children ? Laura Mindenao was born in France and moved to England at the age of 21 where she is a secondary school French teacher. She wants to make reading more accessible to children who want to learn English and French in a magical way.

Laura Mindenao est n e en France et est partie vivre en Angleterre a l'age de 21 ans o elle enseigne le fran ais. Elle veut rendre la lecture plus accessible aux enfants qui veulent apprendre l'anglais et le fran ais d'une fa on plus ludique.

Laura Mindenao is also interested in mental health and wants to encourage young readers to be more open with their feelings. Through her years of teaching in inner city schools in Birmingham, West Midlands, she witnessed how difficult it can be for young children to self-regulate. With this book, Laura Mindenao wants to help young readers build up their confidence.
