I picked the book up to read and could not put it down. It is fun, fast and quirky. I loved the book and the characters. I could see myself and my friends and relatives in the personalities of the people in Raw Nerves. It's a great book to take on a trip or to sit in on a lazy day and read.
A wonderful mystery!

I loved it - the quirkiness and humanness of the main character, the details of Cape Cod life (it's how it really is!), and the suspense - was taken off guard by the bad guy and had guessed completely wrong! I couldn't put it down - and I look forward to more mysteries by this author.
A Winner

This book has it all--funny, mystery, great characters with traits we can all relate to. I found it hard to put it down until the last page was read. I can't wait for Ms. Perel's next book!

My advice: If you're taking the book to the beach, bring more suntan lotion, because you won't want to leave. it's smart and funny, with characters just quirky enough to ring oh so true and a plot that will keep you turning pages until you've established some serious tan lines.
