While in Yala, Professor Rohana Jayaweera, an archaeologist from Kelaniya University, is urgently summoned to Colombo by helicopter late at night. Along with Nandadeva Dheerawansa, another lecturer in archaeology from Kelaniya University, and journalist Hiruni Thilakarathne, they quickly arrive at Horton Plains to investigate archaeological ruins that suddenly and unexpectedly emerged. They are amazed to discover the ruins of a palace believed to belong to King Ravana.
According to these findings, the professors logically extend Sri Lankan history to a more astonishing past, realizing that they are embarking on an incredibly surprising historical secret.
Meanwhile, due to a mysterious reason, an American special operations team arrives to destroy these ruins. They must race against time to gather as much evidence about the ruins as possible before the Americans.
If these ruins are destroyed, the efforts to extend Sri Lankan history further into the past through historical records, literary works, and legends, along with the supporting evidence, will be buried forever with a historical truth that would shake the world.
