Chambers obviously sees the world through his own unique prism, and he's letting us readers in on it. I couldn't put it down, and think you'll enjoy it as well. For veteran Western readers you'll find a fresh new approach to familiar material. For those new to the genre, you'll want to read more. There is the hero who works for The Service, male and female villains, some characters, and the cleverest horse of all, Pandora. She's even better than the horse Lee Marvin rode off in all directions in Cat Ballou. This one will make you smile.
