"Rapture!" @ the Qapitol is a humorous political satire that reimagines the events of the "insurrection" in a manner that should pacify our hysterical media. The collection of poems questions the voting system, public health system, school system, corrupt leaders, and corrupt crony corporations. The purpose of the poem is to entertain as well as protest the current political atmosphere, and perhaps even serve as a modern day "Yankee Doodle Dandy". The piece pulls no punches when criticizing both left-wing and right-wing ideologies and concepts. As the "insurrection" has been compared to Pearl Harbor, 9-11 and the Civil War, audiences will be glad to know that the fictional portrayal of "Rapture!" @ the Qapitol keeps in line with those expectations. The story consists of ten independent poems. Each poem is eight stanzas long, those of which contain four lines in rhyme written in perfect iambic pentameter.
