Randy Stewart Rainbow was born on July 6, 1981, into a Jewish family in Huntington, New York. From a young age, Randy's life was surrounded by humor and music, with his father, Gerry Rainbow (n Ribner), being a musician and talent booker. When Randy was 10, the family relocated to Plantation, Florida, where he spent his formative years. He credits his grandmother, an outspoken and humorous woman, as his greatest comedic influence. In his own words, she was a mix of Joan Rivers, Elaine Stritch, Betty White, and Bea Arthur, often talking back to politicians and celebrities on TV, which shaped Randy's love for satire.
