K. L. Franklin was born in Detroit, Michigan, toward the end of WW II. She was raised by her mother until she was nine years old when the Universe provided her with a new father and eventually two sisters. Because of the misperceptions of a child, she embarked upon a journey that would lead through corridors into the depths of the dark nights of her soul and back out again into the bright light of awareness. By offering her personal experiences as examples, she hopes to encourage readers to apply these lessons to their lives. Presenting personal stories and thoughts is her way of showing the world that anyone can see their life from any angle of the kaleidoscope, should they choose to. To put it less flamboyantly - to share how she got from then to now while having fun along the way
