GREAT POCKET DICTIONARY

This is the perfect book for anyone that wants a small, quick reference to medical terms. This book fits perfectly into any jeans, scrubs, or lab coat pocket to make it easy to carry and pull out when needed. Has helped me out a great deal during nursing school when I had to refer back to terms I couldn't remember.

Excellent

Because of its small size, this dictionary is not, and can't be, as comprehensive as large dictionaries. However, it does surprisingly manage to define the vast majority of words that even medical students/professionals will encounter. Moreover, the definitions are clear and concise with good technical depth, but still reasonably understandable for laymen. The KEY ADVANTAGE of this dictionary is that it is the smallest medical dictionary I've found, and the only one that can truly be called "portable." I frequently carry my copy with me. Finally, at this price, it's a steal.
