Another Winner from Christy Barritt

Christy has started off great with the first book in another mystery series! The main character, Holly Anna has been told that she has a rare form of cancer and has about a year to live. Instead of wallowing in self-pity (most of the time anyway), she decides to secretly do random acts of kindness. During one of those kind acts, she stumbles upon a murder! Then she tries to keep her presence at the crime scene a secret, but the killer knows she was there and begins to frame her in the next couple of murders. Thrown into the mix is an old high school crush who is now the detective on the case, and his partner who is sure Holly is connected in some way to the crimes. There are a lot of twists and turns. Some of the ending I guessed early on, but was never quite sure. However, I enjoyed this book and can't wait to read the second one in the series. I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
