RAMRAKSHASTOTRA
TEXT, TRANSLITERATION, MEANING AND REFLECTIONS
The name "Rama" carries strength of its own. There are many ways to connect with it, through reading Ramayana, or listening to it, but in everyday life, I have found that simply keeping the Ramraksha Stotra close and chanting it regularly is one of the most easy and meaningful ways to chant the name of Rama.
This book is an attempt to make that journey a little more accessible. It includes the original Sanskrit verses, phonetic transliteration, word-by-word meanings, translations and reflections to help you understand and connect with the stotra more deeply and profoundly.
This is not just a translation put together for the sake of it. The Ramraksha Stotra has been a constant presence in my life and this work comes from that personal engagement with it, what I have understood, questioned and experienced along the way for over the years.
If you are new to the stotra, I hope this book helps you approach it with clarity. If you already chant it, I hope it adds something more meaningful to your understanding.
Thank you for reading
