Al first wrote his memories up to 1997, but then, new things began to happen every year so he wrote about that each year. In 2003, Al road his motorcycle on a 5 week trip to Alaska and kept a journal of it so he would always be able to recall the adventure. In 2006 he created a blog on the internet to share his adventures with cyberspace.
