Great book,

Great book about sri ramakrishna's life from the view point of his close disciples, and friends.

Very very inspiring

This book quickly became one of my very favorite spiritual sources of inspiration. It remains on my bed stand, though I've re-read it many times. It is stories by people who spent hours and hours with Ramakrishna. They make clear the spiritual power, aura...this being embodied. Reading this book gives at least some sense of what it must have been like being with Ramakrishna, who I have come to believe was (is) an avatar. --And I do not grant that acknowledgment lightly. The only two other beings who I feel the same certainty about are Jesus and Babaji, (though of course, there may well be others.) This book gets my highest recommendation. It is in a class with "Miracle of Love," stories about Neem Karoli Baba, and "The Life of Catherine of Siena," by Ramond of Capua, her confessor. Once again, these are eye-witness accounts of people's experience of these great beings. I envy those of you who will be reading any of these works for the first time.
