Ramadan Mubarak

By: Nasir Hussain

Ramadan Mubarak is a warm and engaging children's picture book that introduces young readers to the blessings, practices, and values of the holy month of Ramadan.

The story begins with the sighting of the Ramadan moon. Sameer and his family welcome the blessed month with gratitude and remembrance of Allah. As Sameer experiences fasting from sunrise to sunset, he begins to understand how precious everyday blessings such as food and water truly are.

Throughout Ramadan, Sameer recites the Holy Qur'an, learns beautiful duas from his mother, goes to the mosque with his father, and listens to stories from the Qur'an. His father also helps him understand that fasting teaches patience, compassion, peace, and care for those who have less.

Sameer also learns about Laylat al-Qadr, the blessed night that is better than a thousand months. As Ramadan comes to an end, he looks back on a month filled with worship, prayer, charity, gratitude, and remembrance of Allah before beginning his preparations for Eid.

Written in clear, child-friendly language, Ramadan Mubarak is a thoughtful introduction to Ramadan for young Muslim readers. It is ideal for Muslim families, Islamic schools, classrooms, Ramadan reading, and children beginning to understand the meaning behind fasting and worship.

A gentle Ramadan story about faith, gratitude, patience, generosity, and growing closer to Allah.
