This is an excellent book for all mothers, whether your child is young or grown. I have read many parenting books but this book gave me practical mothering help. It challenged me to purpose to lead my children through all of their stages of life. I am reminded that God made ME the mom, and I am to intentionally lead my children through life.

Wonderful book

Instead of giving a list of do's and don'ts or formulas, this book teaches the correct mindset of being a mother. The things that you do, then just follow in place. It helps you to focus on the big picture of raising your children. I wish I had had this book when my older two children were growing up. But I now have the insight of looking back and seeing that the things that Catherine Hickem has written about are true. I would recommend this book to any parent.

Page Turner That Sticks With You

I have bought many books on the subject of parenting and some of them are tough to get through. Others are easy reads but I walk away with little that I can apply to my life as a mother. With this book I couldn't put it down and I find that I have been thinking differently as I parent and that it has made me see who my children are as individuals and how I can best help them grow to be the people they are meant to be. This is a must-read for all moms (with children young or older). I have given a copy to several friends as gifts and they have all been so thankful.

Best Yet

As a mom if two girls, I have read lots of books on being a mom but this book hits home and I feel is the best yet. We all sometimes feel regret and there is no need. I guarantee this will be up there with your favorites.
