Good book if you need a strong approach with your kids

A book on rasing kids from a Christian perspective. A strength is applying Scriptural concepts to WHY we discipline our kids, not discipline for the sake of discipline. Author assumes the reader wants to "raise a child in the way he should go" and the goal of good parenting is to prepare the child to make responsible adult decisions. Another clear goal is to provide a concept of parental love that mirrors a believer's relationship with our Heavenly Father. A lot of nice stories to illustrate the points. The writing itself is not the best, but the advice is worth the read.
