Absolutely wonderful book

This books is one of the best books of its kind, and easy to read for guys...filled with funny stories, lots of ideas and Scripture. Having read it through, I'm currently using it in a parenting class I teach on Sunday morning. It's a must read for every parent who desires to raise faithful children. The author interviewed 30 families, where the parents were successful both in business AND family. He shares the common principles that helped the families to be successful in faith and morality, but not at the expense of their careers. Some of the fathers were executives in fortune 500 companies; the rest in similarly successful positions, but all maintained being servant-leaders in their homes. That's what makes this book a must read for every parent. Other books that I would recommend are "What Every Family Needs" (by Drs. Paul Faulkner and Carl Breechen), The New Strong-Will Child (by Dr. James Dobson) and The New Dare to Discipline (also by Dr. James Dobson)--really anything by Dobson.

Every parent should read this book!

What an inspiring book! Raising children in today's society is such a challange and this book gave me so much hope that I can raise my children in a positive and loving atmosphere. The chapter on The Role of the Mother and The Role of the Father just took my breath away. I now realize the importance of family traditions and my children love them. This is a book I will read over and over again and recommend to everyone. Don't miss this one if you have children or are even thinking of becoming a parent.
