When you think about child rearing, what words come to mind? I do not know about you, but I can certainly think of a few choice ones. Although there is nothing greater than the gift of a child, one minute we want to throttle them, the next cuddle, coddle, and coo endearing and loving words of affirmation and shower them with kisses. We encourage, praise, and embrace them with never-ending hugs. To have a child running, screaming, squirming, and mimicking about is heartwarming. In sad times and in glad times, through the terrible two's and through the tumultuous teenage years, God will guide you. In happy moments, frustrating moments, and stress-provoked times, God will lead you. Do not panic, parenting will get easier. The Bible gives us numerous examples of family discontent but through each battle, God is present and His intervention prevalent. The same applies to you. There is no parental battle that you will ever face alone. God has your back God has afforded you with one of the best blessings and you are the better for it. He thinks you are more than capable of child rearing. He has given you a priceless opportunity and ample abilities to succeed. Most families today are blended families and have both parents working outside the home or split-families with single parents raising two or more children. I am a single parent raising three. Whatever your situation, married or single, this book will help you maneuver through parenting. Parenting is the hardest, yet most rewarding job in the world.
