WISE ADVICE FOR RAISING GODLY CHILDREN

Today's parents don't want their kids to grow up to become aimless wanderers, restless and going nowhere. In his book, Raising Children on Purpose, author Wesley Fleming shares how parents can shape their children's futures by following God's plan in Proverbs 22:6 to "raise up a child in the way he should go..." In the first part of the book, Fleming helps parents discover their child's unique gifting and spiritual passion - using the "DNA" survey tool (Divine Notion Awakening). The detailed analysis can be used for youth ages 7 to 18. The child's unique "way" is the place where talent and passion intersect. The second part of the book equips parents to help develop their child's calling. There are chapters on each of the seven emotional needs, as well as a section on praying with purpose and making home a place of spiritual growth.
