In life, there are two types of people who reach greatness, those whom the world expects to be great and those whose greatness catches the world off guard. The path to elevation for the first group usually takes place right before our eyes. However, the path of elevation for the latter group normally takes place behind closed doors.

The latter group is what I'd like to refer to as being raised from the back. When you are raised from the back, nothing is just handed to you on a silver platter; you have to put in the work behind the scenes without any praises or applauses cheering you along the way. Being raised from the back means that you can't trust your God-given dreams, goals and gifts to just anyone because only certain people are assigned to assist you. There may be some of you who are also being raised from the back. Good news! You're in good company.

Throughout this book, Krista expresses the challenges she faced while God was raising her through this process. In your journey, you may be tempted to join the world in believing that there is nothing special about you. That God only does exceptional things through overtly talented people.
