I have read the first 2 books in this series, this book being the second in the series. The books are excellent and give so many helpful ideas and thoughts. Thsi book, Raise Them Saints, gives many stories of saints we have heard of. What I like is that they don't just tell you what many of us already know about the saints, but rather go into detail about the saints' parents, grandparents, and how they influneced the saints. Isn't that what we all want from our children, to be a saint one day? Mary Ann Budnik at one point in the book tells about the upbringing of Tom Monahan (Dominoes pizza) and Ted Turner and how their upbringing strongly influenced who they grew up to be. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is looking for a book with direction on raising our children today. I can't wait to read the next one. (By the way, the first book is wonderful and a great gift idea if you have any weddings to attend this year, a great gift for newlyweds.)
