Rainbow Ray is a Guardian Angel sent by Jesus to protect Chad and guide him as he faces difficult siutations and choices. Rainbow Ray is sent to Chad as a dog with beautiful rainbow wings. Rainbow Ray is always there to remind him what his mom, Freda, taught him. Chad enjoys a day at the park with his mom and sister. Chad saw a kid sitting alone and Rainbow Ray reminded Chad how his mother taught him to never let any child be left out. Chad included the new black kid that was sitting alone in playing, and invited him to join his family to their picnic lunch. Chad's mom rewarded Chad for doing well on his report card by taking him to the icecream shop. Chad is reminded by Rainbow Ray to be courteous and give up his seat if an adult is standing. Chad holds the door for a schoolmate in a wheelchair and gives up his seat for her mother adding kindess to his character. Chad learns never to lie to his mother. Chad was scared to get a flu shot and he pretended to be sick. Rainbow Ray reminded Chad that his mother taught him to always tell the truth. Chad discovered a flu shot wasn't so bad after all. Chad told the truth and was rewarded by his mom with a trip to Burger Boy after his Dr. Appointment.
