Thoroughly Satisfied

This book should be mandatory for parents and children! It was informative and comprehensive. However, the only drawback was that the book contained a lot of grammatical errors, as well as misspelled words. I think the publisher did a poor job of proofreading. On the other hand, if the publisher would give this book another proofing before the next reprint, I think we will have a winner!

Educators should read this

RAGGEDY SCHOOLS appears to have been written for blacks, and not everybody will like what the author has to say or how he says it. Married to a white teacher of disadvantaged minority students, I found his book a valuable insight into the frustrations a caring, knowledgeable black educator faces. Perry offers solutions as well as identifying problems. His book is worth reading for people willing to glean the knowledge and to overlook the less-than-polished rhetoric. He is an angry black man, with plenty of reason to be angry.
