Rebecca Weigold and Lorette C. Luzajic met through a shared love of art and poetry. As they began corresponding online, they had parallel experiences of mourning their fathers, and then living through breast cancer. They had long conversations about love, family, grief, trauma, what it means to be a writer, gratitude, and complicated faith. These talks turned into a dialogue of ekphrastic poems. The Ragged Psalms collection is the result of that exchange.
