Although slightly outdated, this is a good book for anyone who is unfamiliar with liberal ideas and theories. It was written about the time where liberal politics were just coming onto the scene of American politics, with the Vietnam War, Communism, and the failed Bay of Pigs invasion. Gives great insight into what a radical liberal believes in, but also compares the liberal to other beliefs in politics. I highly reccommend it to anybody interested in politics.
