Some of the stories are mere works of fiction, and some have been adapted from the sacred Sanskrit texts, namely the Srimad Bhagavatam and The Bhagavad Gita. Both provide details on the earthly life of Krishna. Krishna's life was a spiritual journey filled with philosophical teachings. In fact, Krishna spent his whole life teaching humanity how to live in the best way possible. He, himself, lived in the same way, which is why, through adversity or bliss he was able to remain equanimous and self satisfied. Whilst we think of Krishna as being about to achieve this because of his Godly nature, we must ask ourselves: are we really separate from God? Do we not possess the same nature as God? If God was able to live as a human, contained by this material realm, are we not able to take directions and apply them to life? Are we not able to love as God did?
