Amazing and inspiring story, its full of love and promise.

Great book for Teens and Young Adults. Can contain some extreme drama, profanity (cursing), and is a bit depressing. But overall its an amazing book that I highly recommend. For an older adult version, read The Art of Racing in the Rain. Other recommendations about animals for children and teens are Ice Dogs, Fetching (Kiera Stewart), Homer's Odyssey, A Hundred Horses, Rescued (Peter Zheutlin), A Dog's Way Home (Bruce Cameron), and the Dog Whisperer Trilogy, and A Dog's Purpose (Bruce Cameron).
