I ordered this book for my genealogy/family research to determine what caused people to leave Alabama and move to Arkansas during the early & mimd-1900s. The book is exactly what I was looking for in that it details how and why African Americans moved from Alabama and other southern states to Arkansas. A must read for those researching family who moved to Arkansas from southern states.
