Rabil, Cape Verde

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Rabil (also in Capeverdean Crioulo), is the island's second largest town located 3 km south of the island capital of Sal Rei in the island of Boa Vista, Cape Verde. Its population is approximately 1,000. Rabil is linked with a paved road linking Sal Rei and Norte, a poor road to the west and a few dirt roads linking to various parts of the island. It is home to the nearby airport (see Rabil Airport). The street plan were made up of desert streets with desert-like mud-brick built homes with some concrete and stone-built homes as well. The town also serves a gas station as well. The island's marathon run passes through the town and has been since the early to mid-2000s.
