When Patrick Duff realized the local media in his area was not doing their job of holding local politicians to account, or the corporations, and they were instead worried about access and advertising dollars over news, he decided to do something about it. But when he found out that his diverticulitis was misdiagnosed and instead was high risk stage 2 cancer, something changed in him. Duff's many battles with government entities include his being nicknamed the most raided man in Los Angeles, for his half a decade of operating medical cannabis dispensaries from 2005 through 2010, where he was raided numerous times by the DEA and LAPD. In 2015 Duff began a fight to save a home in Camden, NJ where Martin Luther King Jr. lived periodically between 1948-1951, but has had nothing but pushback by the NJ and Camden City Governments. Two years ago after having a ten inch tumor removed in a surgery that he didn't know if he was going to wake up from, something inside him changed, as it does with many people who experience near death experiences such as Duff just had. He knew that his time here could be extremely limited, and that if he was going to leave a better world for his son, he had to act now to help make people believe again. Duff wanted to help bring out the emotions in people who all seem upset about how things are transpiring in this country, but are to scared to stick their heads out of the window and yell "I'm mad as hell and I am not going to take it anymore", for fear of online trolls attacking them or losing their jobs. Duff is fearless, challenging local officials with hard questions gathered by serious investigative journalism, and even more so, relentless in his mission to bring transparency to where the sun don't shine.
