Nice little picture book for preschoolers at bed time.

The twelve illustrations in this book were very good. Each takes up two pages so the book is basically 12 "scenes" long. The story involves a mother rabbit and her six offspring who must be put to bed at night and then fed breakfast in the morning. Included is a little playtime, bath, getting PJs on, a snack, story, and then bed followed by wakeup and breakfast. There is enough graphic detail in the various scenes that any parent reading this book to his or her child or children at bedtime can expand the story to make it interesting time and time again. I would have liked the book better if the text had been worded a little differently. And the choice of rabbits for the family was quite a stretch. Most human kids don't have five brothers and sisters they take a bath with and then crawl into bed with each night. 4 stars!

An imaginative book that reminds me a little of Pete's a Pizza, this book is sure to have sleepy rabbits begging for a slice of rabbit pie!
