Rabbit the Dog likes to meet other animals and make new friends. In this picture book Rabbit is shown with 14 of her real-life friends from Texas and Florida. (Don't tell her that the two from the store are not alive, that would break her heart.) The word for each animal is at the top of the page above the pictures of Rabbit and her friend to help toddlers start to connect words with meaning. Children like to tell their own version of what Rabbit and the other animal(s) are doing in each image. Grandparents like the fact that the text is large and easy to read. This is the second picture book for infants and toddlers from the Rabbit the Dog series.
