AI would have written a better book

I can't blame translation, because I have seen bad translations. This is just word salad. I pushed through the first 3 chapters and that was painful. There are typos for function and package names, because no one proofread it. There are references to packages that were "depreciated" or pulled 5 years and a whole version before the Copyright date. The code snippets are useless. Boxed text so you can't tell what is comment and next line. Multiple commands on the same line with inexplicable ">". Variable assignments that are not defined properly. (Does Andy even know R?) Calls to data structures that don't exist. Function calls that are not correct. So the code doesn't work. This was a complete waste of money and my day. The only positive is that I found the worst example of a programming book.
